White dial and silver sub-dials: this is just a fantastic combination! The Vintage Seiko 7T32-7B00 Quartz Chronograph that you see here is as good looking as a watch can be. Readability is guaranteed thanks to the black hand nicely contrasting with both the white background as well as the silver subdials.

The watch wear much larger than usually the small 7T32 calibers wear, thanks to the large bezel on the case, which sports also a tachymeter scala.The mushroom pushers stand out as well, easy to feel also with gloves. Finally, the protected main crown, albeit small, complements the right side of the case well pairing wittht the even smaller dual time/alarm crown.

The case is well is in excellent condition, without major dimps but still porting the normal scrattches due to normal use. This was, after all, a daily wearer. The glass does present a very fine line at 1:20, but it is so tiny it does not affect the overall presence of the watch. We can replace it before shipping for a small additional fee if you want a pristine glass.

The black leather strap has been worn, and it shows. It is not damaged, and the wuality, being made by Hirsch, is very good. The buckle is signed with the company’s logo (a stylized H), so you know what you are getting. The strap is fin, and wears really well, and its black color accentuates even more the white of the dial contrasting with the metal of the case.

Finally, the dual time and alarm chime at 6 oclock work perfectly, and the chime is loud and clear.

What we like about this watch:

This watch was a daily wearer for years, but it is well mainteined. It was recently serviced in our lab and a new battery was fitted, so once you receive it, put it on and go on with your business, it will feel really well on the wrist. The dimension, topping the 40mm in diameter (without the crown) makes it contemporary and a very good wristwatch even for those who have bigger wrists. The lume on the hands as well as on the hours markers is still strong, making it easy to read in the dark. This wath is all about readability.

What we don’t like about this watch:

The tiny scratch on the glass as well as some signs of wear and use on the case could put you off. But this is a vintage watch, with its history. The glass can be replaced, but it is a decision that can be taken anytime. The dimensions make it a modern daily wearer, but some could object that a watch from 2002 should not even be considered to be vintage. Whatever…

This is not a Daytona. Not even pretending to be. This Vintage Seiko 7T32-7B00 Quartz Chronograph is a contemporary, albeit vintage looking wristt watch that wil stand the test of time with any dress code, being sporty (due to the inherent chronograph, dual time and alarm complications) but stll classy looking, thanks to the black – white – silver color combination, enhanced by tthe nice black Hirsch leather strap.
